say hi to yippikiyo!

We have a new member, so everyone say hi to yippikiyo!

We've all been quiet lately, so thought I'd ask a question. . .

What's your preference, letterboxing out in the woods or letterboxing
at a park in the city?

I have to admit for myself, it's a seasonal thing. I like nothing
more than getting the boys out into the woods on a nice hike. . .but
in the summer around here (or during busy baseball season), that's not
so enjoyable/easy to do. So we save the shorter letterboxing
excursions for the summer & busier times.

With family I prefer the city parks.  My family isn’t as ‘into the woods’ as I am.  On my own, I love to get way out there and plant some boxes which combines letterboxing and backpacking, my two favorite outdoorsy things.  Sometimes these boxes require a bit of a hike.  But isn’t that part of the fun????

Any chance you will give some hints on your Toadally Hoppy box? I
don't mind long hikes, but would rather have a better idea of where
to look next time I try this one.
Thanks,
Silver Eagle

I’ll try to get by and make sure it’s still there this week or next.  I think that’s what makes some boxes hard to find, I’m looking in the right spot but the box isn’t there!  At least, that’s what I tell myself! J
